Multi Thermocouple Cartridge
Disposable thermocouple cartridge that is immersed in molten metal to measure temperature.
The multi thermocouple cartridge is a disposable consumable fitted to the end of the measuring instrument and immersed in molten metal to measure temperature. Using a new cartridge for every measurement maintains accuracy and repeatability.
The thermocouple wire inside the cartridge is protected by a sheath from the effects of liquid metal and slag for a short time, which is sufficient for the measurement. Immersion depth and time should follow the instrument manufacturer's instructions.
The cartridge type is chosen according to the metal to be measured and the temperature range, and must be compatible with the instrument model. Compatibility information and pack quantities are shared on request. Cartridges should be stored in a dry area.
