Alcohol and water based refractory coating with manganese-based filler for protecting mould and core surfaces.
Manganese-based coating is a mould and core coating with a manganese-containing filler. It forms a barrier between metal and sand on the mould surface, aiming to improve surface quality and reduce penetration.
Alcohol-based types are dried by ignition after application; water-based types need oven or forced drying. Which metal and part type it suits varies with composition and moulding system.
Application density, layer thickness and drying quality affect the result. Technical information and trials are recommended for the use of this coating; you can consult us with the metal to be poured and the moulding system.
