Ceramic Filter Series
Pressed or cellular ceramic filters used for gating filtration.
The ceramic filter series covers filters of pressed or cellular construction. Placed in the gating system, the filter retains slag and inclusions in the molten metal and regulates metal flow.
In cellular filters the metal passes through channels of defined opening, which calms the flow while keeping the space required in the gating system limited. Filter material, opening and size are determined by the metal to be poured, pouring temperature and gating design.
