Oval Feeder Sleeves

Oval feeder sleeves are used on parts where long, narrow areas that are not round in section need feeding. The oval section lets the feeder sit on the part with a wide contact area and feed a wider zone with the same volume.

The exothermic structure helps the metal inside the sleeve solidify later and extends feeder time. In long areas to be fed such as plates, edges and flanges, it can save space and metal compared with a round feeder.

Size and position are determined by part geometry and modulus. Sleeves should be stored in a dry area, as moisture reduces performance. You can consult us with the part drawing for suitable sizing.
